IOSA is built around progress, not just weekly attendance. Amit helps students develop technique, timing, complete songs, stage confidence and — when they are ready — an internationally recognised Rockschool pathway.
Don't miss a regular weekend slot.
Amit personally teaches the private guitar program, so weekly places are deliberately limited. When a regular time is allocated, it normally stays with that student while they continue.

Where practice leads
Students learn to play through a full song, recover from mistakes and perform with confidence.

What progress actually looks like
A beginner should not spend months collecting disconnected songs. Each stage has a purpose: first control, then musical fluency, then performance confidence, then advanced technique and certification if that suits the student's goals.

The real transformation
That change is bigger than learning chords. Students learn to practise with purpose, finish what they start, listen to timing, play in front of other people and keep going when something is not perfect. Those are the foundations of a serious musician.
For the child
Songs, confidence, stage experience and a clear sense of improvement.
For the parent
A structured pathway, visible milestones and the option of recognised certification.
Don't miss a regular weekend time
Amit teaches each private student personally. Existing students normally keep their weekly time as they progress, so new regular places only open when there is genuine capacity. Check availability before planning around a preferred Saturday or Sunday time.

Senior Guitar Music TeacherWith over 25 years of live performance experience, Amit Jaywant has performed with renowned bands and concerts across multiple musical genres including Bollywood, Pop, Rock and Blues.
At IOSA Music Academy, Amit provides personalised one-on-one guitar lessons designed to help every student build confidence, creativity, rhythm, discipline and stage performance skills in a fun, encouraging and structured environment.
“Music is more than learning notes — it's about building confidence, creativity and a lifelong passion for performing.”
Short practical lessons from Amit Jaywant help beginners learn the right habits from day one. This library will continue to grow with new guitar lessons, practice tips and song techniques.
Amit shows beginners the right sitting posture, guitar position and hand placement before they start learning chords and songs.
A video can teach the technique. A teacher can correct the child.
In private lessons Amit can identify hand position, timing, chord changes and practice habits that are difficult for a beginner to recognise on their own.

Performance is part of learning
Students are not pushed onto stage before they are ready. When their playing is stable, we help them prepare a complete piece, practise entrances and endings, manage mistakes and perform in front of a real audience. That is how classroom confidence becomes performance confidence.
Performance opportunities depend on student readiness and event availability. The value is in preparing properly — not simply appearing on stage.
Prepare for internationally recognised Rockschool (RSL Awards) certification while building confidence, performance skills and a strong academic portfolio.
For families who want more than a hobby, formal grades and genuine performance experience can provide documented evidence of skill, commitment and extracurricular achievement. They can strengthen a student's portfolio, although scholarship and admission decisions are always made by the relevant school or university.
